Use for a news article or press release. May be paired with a campaign if it’s an announcement about an ongoing public initiative.
Goals | Post temporal information, news, and announcements. Because they are ephemeral, news articles keep the public up to date. It helps demonstrate that the City is actively working on things, celebrating accomplishments, and providing updates on progress. |

How it works | Once created and tagged with a department, News will automatically appear on the department page and the homepage. It will also automatically create news list pages, which archive all past news posted on SF.gov.  If you do not want to use the template on sf.gov, this content type includes a URL field for an off-site page to redirect to. |
