Talk to an expert (if you aren’t one)

To write about your services clearly, you must understand them.

You must know the scope of the program and who it serves.

Talk to an expert if you are not one yourself. In your departments, experts are usually program managers or staff.

When meeting with an expert, get answers to the following questions:

  • Who does the program serve? Who doesn’t it serve?

  • What does the program do? What doesn’t the program do?
